Program available now

Posted on

We are pleased to announce that the conference program is available now. We are still finalising the last bits and pieces and will publish the final version next week. Many thanks to all contributers who submitted abstracts for talks.

Following last year’s success we will have an extension of the R-Hackathon at the second day.

We also plan to have a separate workshop/hackathon on integrating an existing WebGIS component into BEXIS 2. The date is not yet fixed, but we intend to have it the day before the actual conference (Wednesday June 8, 2016). If you are interested in this workshop, please contact Roman Gerlach (roman.gerlach@uni-jena.de).

Call for Abstracts

Posted on Updated on

We invite submission of abstracts for oral presentations of 15 min each. Users, developers and data managers of either BExIS 1 or BExIS 2 are encouraged to present their individual application or solution. Presentations should address special features or functionality that might be of interest to others. Also, we are interested in reports on user experiences, lessons learnt, or ideas for improvements.

Please submit your abstract (100-200 words) through our EasyChair submission website.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee. Decisions on acceptance will be made in order to come up with a well-balanced program that matches the expected diversity of participants.

Accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website.
